MaKami College was honoured to celebrate the holidays with our friends at the Philippine Festival Counsel.
Delicious food, fabulous entertainment, and of course good friends. We couldn’t ask for a better way to kick-off the holiday season.
February 4th, MaKami Calgary was excited to be a part of the South Centre Mall Family Play ’n Learn event. Different events were scheduled all over the mall and MaKami students were there to help mom and dad get a little relaxing.
Our Community Outreach Events are a chance for students to get real world, hands-on experience. They are a fabulous opportunity to meet new clients and demonstrate your skills.
But they are also a lot of fun and a chance to explore what the event has to offer. MaKami Edmonton students had a lot of fun at the GC Fitfest February 10-11 checking out the highlights and taking part in some of the classes!
As massage therapists, we are lucky to have the opportunity to interact with and support so many talented athletes and artists in Alberta.
On February 16, 2018, MaKami Calgary students were there to support the performers at a dance competition at Decidedly Jazz Danceworks. The athletes were a prime example of grace, talent and athleticism.
MaKami Edmonton students had fun celebrating the Lunar New Year and the start of the Year of the Dog at West Edmonton Mall.
The celebration included fabulous performances, and an amazing array of vendor booths with gifts and food.
The Lunar New Year is celebrated all over the world and is recognized as one of the most important traditional Chinese festivals.
October 21 & 22 and the Calgary Woman’s Show was a huge success!
Ladies in attendance were treated to a day of celebrities like Young and the Restless soap opera star Doug Davidson, delicious food and drinks, gifts, pampering, shopping and so much more!...
Planning a wedding is stressful enough. Thankfully there is Bridal Fantasy, a
one-stop event with helpful information to make any day just perfect. Add a free mini massage from MaKami Edmonton students and things are less stressful!
MaKami Edmonton students spent a brisk fall day at the office of Alberta’s Health Minister the Honourable Sarah Hoffman promoting healthy living and the ways that Massage Therapy can help Albertans lead healthy lifestyles.
Constituents in Hoffman’s riding in Edmonton-Glenora, were treated to free massages as they passed by her office.
Our Edmonton MaKami students and staff were fabulous ambassadors for the college as they massaged their way through 10 days of K-Days celebrations this summer!
Attendees lined up for their turn for a free mini massage.
Max was great as he made his way through the grounds making sure everyone knew where to find us!
